Not Bad

Though if I could give you some advice, zooming in on sprites often doesn't work very well, they look more like random pixels past a certain point. Also, a start button or option of wither or not to repeat would be nice.

Other then that, you've done a fairly decent job here. Not too repetitive. Not highly original, but then, anything involving two fighting animes rarely is. Overall, you've done a good job here.

Goof to see Tetris lives on, and that stick figures have a chance against crazed blocks. Glad to see you stuck to your deadline, and still managed to bring out great work. Keep it up.

Well...

As far as instructions goes, you might want to add how to move, how to shoot, etc.

Moving is a bit twitchy, I'd recommend tweaking that a bit so that players aren't overly frustrated with trying not to hit the top or bottom of the screen.

As you suggested, improved graphics and sound would also be a plus.

For a work in progress, it isn't half bad. For the moment, I would have to grade this as a rough draft.

This feels more like a demo then anything else. Throw in some more lives and music and you've got a pretty decent thing going.

Ah nostalgia...

Fits the mood of insomniac night here very well, reminds me of my nights a few years back when I averaged 6-14 hours a day online; most of it here. Perhaps a second vocal part to even it out, this seems like it could be a perfect piece of background music for us insomniacs. Overall a very nice piece of work, keep it up. 8)
